A total of 730,000 households across Greece will be supported for two months as part of the targeted financial aid announced by the Minister of Environment and Energy Theodoros Skylakakis, government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis said on Monday.

He underlined during the press briefing that with these aids, 100% of the increased costs are absorbed.

The total value of the financial support for the electricity provided to the households in question exceeds 8.6 million euros and is provided by the Energy Transition Fund.

Marinakis also referred to Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis’ visit to Serbia and his greeting to a business forum.

“The prime minister emphasised Greece’s long-standing support for Serbia’s European perspective as well as its will to strengthen and deepen bilateral cooperation in synergies with energy, infrastructure and transport,” he said.

In conclusion, the government spokesperson made a reference to the draft law of the Ministry of Justice regarding the changes to the Criminal Code.
