UAE says air defenses responding to missile threat
The UAE’s Interior Ministry said the country’s air defenses were responding to a missile threat.
“Please stay safe and follow warnings and updates on official websites,” it urged citizens in a social media post.

Starmer-Erdogan phone call
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke by phone with Sir Keir Starmer about Iran.
He told Starmer that there were still things that could be done to create a basis for dialogue and that Turkey’s efforts for peace were continuing, according to a statement from the Turkish presidency.
Erdogan said Turkey was following the process that began with the attacks on Iran and that prolonged interventions could cause great damage to regional and global stability, the statement said.

We are looking for new American targets to strike, Tehran responds to Trump
A senior Iranian official told CNN that Iran is looking for new American interests to strike, in response to US President Donald Trump’s warning that Iran “will be hit very hard” on Saturday.
Shortly after Trump said the United States was considering new targets in Iran for “total destruction and certain death,” the Iranian official said the US had “clearly threatened to expand the war against the Iranian people and kill them immediately.”
“For this reason, the Islamic Republic announces that it will seriously consider American areas, forces and affiliated entities that have not yet been included in the target list of the Iranian armed forces and will take action against them in the event of reckless action by the enemy,” the official said.
He did not provide further details or specify when attacks on the expanded list of targets might be launched.

EOS Risk Group has raised the threat to shipping in the Strait of Hormuz to “extreme risk” (5/5), warning shipping companies to postpone any passage through the critical maritime artery until further notice. The warning was issued after another deadly attack on a merchant ship and while military tension in the Middle East is escalating.
According to the security update, the risk to commercial ships in the Persian Gulf, the Gulf of Oman and in ports and anchorages of the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Qatar remains high (4/5), with an increased likelihood of new incidents.

Israel orders evacuation of area south of Litani River in Lebanon
The Israeli army has issued an evacuation warning for residents of the area south of the Litani River, suggesting that shelling is imminent.
In a post on X, it warned residents south of the river that the army was operating in the area “with great force.”
“Staying south of the Litani River could endanger your lives and the lives of your families,” it said.
