Yemen’s Houthis had released a video to warn of their intention to destroy any Israeli ships, including civilian ships, inside the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait.

Yemen’s Shia Houthi rebels who emerged victorious from a long-term war against a 7-state alliance that controls most of the country as well as the capital Sha’ana in the Palestinian crisis entered the fray early on and have launched dozens if not hundreds of long-range missiles against Israel.
