What does the President of the Hellenic Republic have to answer publicly to the people about this?….
Katerina Sakelaropoulou’s house was built by the construction company GEK TERNA (ΓΕΚ ΤΕΡΝΑ), which is ALSO a wind farm manufacturer.
On June 24, 2021, the RAE (Energy Regulatory Authority) issued decision 504/2021 based on which TERNA ENERGY of the GEK TERNA Group received permission to install 16 wind turbines (with an impeller diameter of 90 meters) in Mantoudi, Evia, Greece.
The local community rose up then.
On August 6, 2022, the area stated… BURNING–oddly enough.
But GEK TERNA does not only manufacture wind turbines.
The construction core of the group is the complex of residences and shops in Metaxourgeio.
According to GEK TERNA, it is a building of high aesthetics and modern design that resulted from an international architectural competition and includes 40 luxury apartments.
Something like the “Hellenic of Metaxourgeio”.
One of the 40 apartments belongs to Katerina Sakellaropoulou.
In 2012, Katerina Sakellaropoulou was a just simple councilor in the Council of State.
Placed, however, in the fifth department of the supreme administrative court.
That is, in the department that is responsible for checking whether the administration complies with the declarations of the Constitution and the Laws for the protection of the environment.
And in particular for the protection of forests from all kinds of land grabbers who find legislative “windows” to build on the burning ground.
Judge Sakellaropoulou did…NOT turn out to be what people had…HOPED she would be: a champion of justice for the environment.
The opposite took place.
We read on April 12, 2013 in the Greek newssource”Navtemporiki” with APE (Athenian News Agency) as “source”: “The way for the installation of APE (Renewable Energy Sources) even in the forest areas was opened by the Council of State”.
Katerina Sakellaropoulou was the judge rapporteur of the Council of State decision (1421/2013).
On the same day (April 12, 2013), “Kathimerini” published an excerpt of Katerina Sakellaropoulou’s proposal (on the basis of which the disputed decision of the Council of Ministers was taken) according to which: “subject to compelling reasons of public interest, interventions that change or alter the forest character of an area are permitted by way of exception to the Greek Constitution”.
According to Katerina Sakellaropoulou “The installation of wind turbines in forests and forest areas does not contradict the constitutional requirements and is within the legislative framework”.
And the best part of it all: According to Katerina Sakellaropoulou, “Even on the small islands that are environmentally protected by the Constitution, it is possible to install wind turbines.”
It was preceded a year ago by another decision of the Council of State (the 2499/2012) which allowed the development of wind farms in renewable areas.
Katerina Sakellaropoulou was again the rapporteur.

Vice-president and executive member of the GEK TERNA group is Michalis Gourzis, father-in-law of Giorgos Gerapetritis. Mr. Gerapetritis is a minister in Mitsotakis’ government. He is the Minister of Exterior!
Alexandra Gourzis, the daughter of Michalis Gourzis and wife of Giorgos Gerapetritis, is a lawyer specializing in RES matters and head of the legal representation and legal support department of the Energy Regulatory Authority (RAE).
The choice of Katerina Sakellaropoulou for the position of President of the Republic is a common political secret that it arose from a proposal by Giorgos Gerapetritis which was accepted by Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
What does all this mean in plain Greek?…
It means that the wife of the No. 2 of the government is a lawyer at RAE who gave permission for 16 wind turbines in Mantoudi Evia to be installed by a construction group in which the father-in-law of No. 2 of the government (and father of the RAE lawyer) is vice-president and to circumvent the Constitution a decision of the Council of State with a judge rapporteur (Sakellaropoulou) had been issued, who bought a luxury apartment from the same construction group in question and then this same lady judge became the actual….President of the Hellenic Republic following a proposal from the No. 2 of the government, the aforementioned Mr. Gerapetritis, to the No. 1 of the government, in other words, the Greek Prime Minister HIMSELF, Kyriakos Mitsotakis!!!
