A tweet shared on Wednesday from new Twitter boss Elon Musk helps provide a better understanding of why the billionaire has met so much resistance from the left after taking the helm at the social media platform.

In another tweet shared the same day, after apparently rummaging through the closets at Twitter’s headquarters, Musk shared a photo of stacks of “#StayWoke” t-shirts, but that’s not all that he has access to as the new owner. As he intimated later in the day, Musk also has access to all the inner workings at Twitter.

News personality Alex Lorusso posted a tweet asking followers to “raise your hand” if they think Musk “should make public all internal discussions about the decision to censor the @NYPost’s story on Hunter Biden’s laptop.”

Musk responded to the tweet to say, “This is necessary to restore public trust.”
