5.1 Earthquake Shakes Greece’s Rhodes
An earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale hit 37 km (23 miles) southeast of the island of Rhodes at 7:44 a.m. local time.
According to the Athens Geodynamic Institute its focal depth was 16.8 km.
The tremor was felt throughout the Dodecanese islands. There have been no reports of damage.
