Perhaps engaging in a Freudian slip, Star Trek actor William Shatner warned humanity must prepare for “the coming catastrophic event” during an appearance on NBC’s “TODAY” show Thursday.

Following his trip to the edge of space aboard Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin New Shepard rocket and capsule, Shatner described the experience by saying, “The realization once again – the fragility of this planet, the coming catastrophic event, and we all have to clean this act up now.”

So, as the famous actor reflected on earth from above, he pondered a coming massive world-altering event he somehow knows is approaching?

Multiple mainstream media outlets covered the Shatner interview, but all of them simply glossed over the strange remark without questioning what upcoming event he could be referring to.

Shatner isn’t the only well-connected individual to warn of an impending incident on the horizon.

In 2018, author Douglas Rushkoff published an article after interviewing five extremely wealthy hedge funders in which the financial gurus discussed “the event.”

“The Event. That was their euphemism for the environmental collapse, social unrest, nuclear explosion, unstoppable virus, or Mr. Robot hack that takes everything down,” Rushkoff wrote.

This might sound like something out of a sci-fi novel or film, but even mainstream media admits many of the world’s wealthiest and “in the know” individuals have become full-on preppers.

From Silicon Valley elite buying airstrips and farms in New Zealand to rich New Yorkers stocking up on guns and ammo, the nation’s elite are acting as if they know something the average American does not.

After Dr. Fauci ominously foreshadowed, “There will be a surprise outbreak” in January of 2017, perhaps more people started listening when the likes of Joe Biden and Bill Gates promised the nation a new pandemic will occur.

Last month, Joe Biden also suspiciously remarked, “when the new pandemic comes again, as it will,” during a White House speech.

In May, disgraced WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus warned, “Make no mistake, this will not be the last time the world faces the threat of pandemic. It’s an evolutionary certainty that there will be another virus with the potential to be more transmittable and more deadly than this one.”

In February, billionaire eugenicist Bill Gates called for the implementation of a “global alert system” and “pandemic fire squad” to be ready for “the next pandemic.”
