Church of Scientology attorneys respond to reports on suit concerning child abuse & human trafficking

In response to the Newspunch.com article entitled “Church of Scientology Sued For Child Abuse & Human Trafficking“, which we simply republished, their lawyers have released the following statement…

“The lawsuit comprises nothing more than unfounded allegations as to all defendants. Plaintiff “Jane Doe” is Valerie Haney, Leah Remini’s personal assistant who appeared on Ms. Remini’s Aftermath show three times under her own name. Her attorneys’ comparison to the problems faced by the Catholic Church is ludicrous-there has never been a single proven allegation of sexual abuse by the Church of Scientology. Ms. Haney’s plan for a large payout insults true victims of abuse. We are confident the lawsuit will fail. Moreover, the evidence will establish that while serving the Church, Ms. Haney came and went freely, traveled the world, and lived in comfortable surroundings.”

Let it be noted that, up until now, tons of mainstream news reports have come out on this. See the below screenshot…
